On the mighty Web

Web design is a complex and intricate craft. I build sites from scratch. Each site is unique, tailored to the clients' needs, goals and wishes. I'm very passionate about good design and about my work.

Inês Cecília Portfolio

Inês is an old friend that was in need of a portfolio to showcase her skills in video, photography, motion graphics, performative arts and VJ artwork & projection. As so, she needed a site that would aggregate all of her work. This is a project I enjoyed doing because it was my first site that would require a little bit more of jQuery development and a different take on content and communication strategy, information architecture and other very nerdy jargon. The project went smoothly and everybody's happy - especially Inês, who from the beginning was the site's number one fan.

Coming Soon Page

This has to be the longest ‘Coming soon!’ page in the history of the web. This was my official page for about 7 months, prior to the launch of this portfolio. I was busy and the responsive design delayed me a while. It's a nice one-page site, though. I really enjoyed making the astronaut illustration and the video process.

Nádia Ferreira Portfolio

As a designer, Nádia had a very clear idea and objectives for her website. She was finishing her MSc in Delft and needed an online portfolio to showcase her work process and skills, in order to get her a job after the graduation. This project was very engaging and a pleasure to work on. Nádia's legendary feedbacks were a great help and in the end, she was pleased with the outcome. Later she worked for Ebuddy on Amsterdam and now she's the interaction designer for Naham, in Brussels - mission accomplished!
